Kids' Safety

The safety of the children at Huron Baptist is of the highest priority to us. We not only want the children to be safe, we want parents to know their children are being properly cared for. As a result we have put multiple levels of safety into place, making use of the program titled "Reduce the Risk".

Included amongst our policies and procedures is:

• Every volunteer is screened using police background checks, a check of references and an interview
• Training is given to every volunteer as to what ways are and are not appropriate in interacting with the children
• Ushers monitor the halls during church services
• and more...

Our goal is to keep children safe and let parents rest assured so that they can fully focus on worship.
